Your Duties

  • Serving as the host and primary contact for guests, providing competent advice and support.
  • Creating and printing standardized daily programs and delivering tourist information through lectures and announcements.
  • Organizing embarkation and disembarkation and coordinating internal and external entertainment on board.
  • Designing and implementing an entertaining day and evening program for guests.
  • Advising on shore excursions and destinations, taking excursion bookings, and managing excursions at the destinations.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and controlling the implementation of all A-ROSA standards on board.
  • Being responsible for the entire A-ROSA product on board the ship and the onboard A-ROSA cash register.

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed vocational training or a degree.
  • Experience as a tour guide and ship experience.
  • Experience in animation and entertainment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Fidelio is an advantage.
  • Very good language skills in German and English (Portuguese is an advantage on the Douro).
  • Organizational talent and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of travel destinations is an advantage.
