Your Duties

  • Maintenance of electrical systems and installations
  • Maintenance and servicing of electrical/electronic control and regulation systems
  • Technical maintenance of navigation and communication systems
  • Ensuring the safe operation of all high and low voltage systems
  • Performing all installation work within your area of responsibility
  • Supporting the Chief Technical Officer/Technical Officer in all tasks related to ship and hotel operations
  • Deck watch duties when the ship is docked
  • Assisting the nautical crew during mooring and unmooring as needed

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed vocational training in an electrical profession (e.g., electrician, mechatronics technician, building services technician)
  • Knowledge of inland and/or ocean shipping is advantageous
  • Seafarer’s service book and current medical fitness examination
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making competence
  • Initiative and sense of responsibility
  • Attention to detail and precision in work
  • High technical affinity and interest in continuous learning
