Your Duties

  • Conduct bridge and gangway watches and monitor mooring stations.
  • Participate in safety drills and ensure safety during ship mooring and casting off.
  • Maintain and clean the entire ship, including the exterior areas.
  • Handle ropes and operate mooring equipment.
  • Assist in the disposal of waste ashore and provide luggage service during embarkation and disembarkation.
  • Perform nautical and technical tasks on deck as directed by the boatswain.

Your Profile

  • Completed training as a seaman (Seaman's Certificate).
  • Seaman's logbook and a minimum age of 18 years.
  • Preferably experience on the Rhine and Danube.
  • Good German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Training as a breathing apparatus carrier according to FSV.
  • High resilience and team spirit.
  • Commitment and willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
