Your responsibilities

  • Preparatory work and assistance in the fruit & vegetables area
  • Assistance in special departments with proper attention to applicable standards
  • Assistance in the buffet area
  • Keeping work utensils and cold stores clean
  • Help with cleaning kitchen/storage areas
  • Flexible deployment in all hotel areas
  • Attention to guest interests when working in public areas
  • Compliance with uniform code in public and non-public areas (especially when on watch)
  • Assistance with loading
  • Help carrying suitcases
  • Assistance with waste disposal
  • Proper handling of all hotel/cleaning materials and chemicals; refilling of chemicals

Your profile

  • experience as chef’s assistant in the gastronomy/hotel on land or onboard
  • Proven experience of working in a kitchen
  • Must have a basic knowledge of German and/or English
  • Health certificate for the gastronomy sector
